Dr Duncan Shannon

Dr Duncan Shannon graduated from the University of Auckland School of Medicine in 2013 and completed specialist training in Obstetrics and
Gynaecology across hospitals in New Zealand and Australia.

Dr Shannon was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) in
2022. He subsequently completed three years of subspecialty training in Urogynaecology (Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery)
at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, and Queen Elizabeth II Hospital,
Brisbane.

Dr Shannon works publicly at Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Brisbane and consults privately at Greenslopes Private Hospital, Queensland Pelvic Floor Centre and Nambour Selangor Private Hospital.

His clinical interests include female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, pelvic floor disorders, urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and urogynaecology.

Dr Shannon is committed to providing patient-centred care, with a focus on clear communication and informed decision-making.
