Dr Lloyd Butel-Simoes

Dr Lloyd Butel-Simoes is a Cardiologist practicing in the Newcastle and Hunter regions. He completed his medical training through the University of Newcastle and HNE Health, followed by subspecialty fellowship training in Cardio-Oncology, Heart Failure, Pulmonary Hypertension, and Echo Cardiac Imaging locally and abroad at The Royal Brompton Hospital, London.

 

He is a Fellow of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (FCSANZ) and the International Cardio-Oncology Society (FICOS). He holds appointments as an Affiliate and Conjoint Associate Lecturer at the University of Newcastle where he is currently completing a PhD in cardio-oncology risk stratification and cardiotoxicity mitigation.
