Dr Luiza Peculis

Luiza completed her medical studies at the University of Sydney and undertook her basic specialty training at John Hunter, Maitland, and Tamworth hospitals. She completed a further two years of advanced training at Liverpool Hospital focusing on management of high risk pregnancies including pregnancies complicated by medical disorders, twins and vaginal birth after caesarean.

Luiza is a Staff Specialist at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital and a VMO at Liverpool and St. George Private Hospitals. She is also a Conjoint Lecturer for UNSW and is heavily involved in medical student and junior doctor training and supervision.

When not at work Luiza is a busy wife and mum to two young sons and an energetic dog. She also speaks Portuguese.
